What this church is

We are a small religious community for people who believe Satan is real and choose to worship him. The site gives us one place for readings, announcements, discussion, private study, and contact with the administration.

Most members take part online. There are no dues, no required public identity, and no demand that everyone practise in exactly the same way. People can read quietly, ask questions, attend a gathering, or become more involved over time.

A young congregation, plainly dated

The High Satanic Church was founded on 15 March 2026. We do not present the congregation as ancient, and we do not claim a hidden institutional succession or organisational lineage from an older Satanist group.

Some of our metaphysical vocabulary overlaps with terms used elsewhere in modern esotericism. Where that happens, we prefer to state the overlap directly and define what the term means here. Similar vocabulary is not treated as evidence of affiliation, endorsement, or shared politics.

What we mean by theistic Satanism

We do not use Satan only as a symbol of rebellion or individualism. Our worship is religious and devotional. That is the main difference between this church and atheistic Satanist organisations.

Independent organisation

We have no affiliation, endorsement, or organisational relationship with the Church of Satan, The Satanic Temple, or another group using similar terms.

How the community works

New accounts begin as Visitors. A Visitor is registered on the website but is not yet a member of the congregation. After signing in, the Visitor can request Neophyte from the members area. Accepted Neophytes gain access to the core member area, including the Library, forum, directory, and member announcements.

Higher ranks may be requested through the Sanctum, through a High Tempel or another authorised superior, or by contacting the administration. Ranks are not sold and are not awarded on a fixed timetable.

What we expect

How to verify what we say

Do not rely on a slogan, screenshot, rank title, or third-party profile as proof of what the Church is. The current public record is the material we publish and maintain here: Governance, Legal and Organisational Information, the FAQ, the public archive, and our contact channel for factual questions or corrections.

If a public claim cannot be checked, we would rather describe it as a belief, internal practice, estimate, or open question than present it as independent fact.
