About 5 minutes; repeat 3 times over at least a week

A Storm Table needs a clear edge more than expensive furnishings. A shelf, cabinet or board brought out when needed can serve. This first practice from The Storm House of Baal lets the place become familiar before it carries requests or working figures.

Baal is approached here as a distinct Higher Entity within the Church’s Satan-centred religious life. Acknowledge Satan before addressing Baal. The table is a working place inside that religious house; it does not become a second central altar.

Use a surface you can keep

Begin with a cup for water, a dish, one image or mark of Baal, and space for a later working figure. A candle is optional when flame can be used safely. You can leave it out. Clean the surface and put the empty cup toward the back, with the image where the eyes rest naturally.

An image may be historical or modern, figurative or abstract. Know which source you are using. The book distinguishes the later Goetic archive of Bael from ancient Baal material; an aged appearance does not turn a modern object into an ancient witness.

Make the first address

Baal, Lord of the storm that gathers and the rain that follows, I have made you a place of address in this house. Let me learn the weight of your name before I load it with requests.

  1. Acknowledge Satan in the manner already natural to your Church practice: a name, a moment of recognition, or a touch to the main altar if it is nearby.
  2. Fill the cup. On this first night, ask for nothing.
  3. Say Baal’s name and, if words help, use the address quoted here.
  4. Sit for a little while. Five minutes is enough. Notice the sound and temperature of the room, the seated body, interruptions and expectations.

Leave an ordinary record

Write two or three factual lines after sitting. Record what you noticed without making the account moving or conclusive. Then empty the cup into the sink, or give the water to a plant only if the plant needs it.

Repeat this first address three times over at least a week before adding a working figure. The source calls the interval a chance for the table to stop feeling new. It is not an initiation or a qualification. You are learning whether the place can be kept after its novelty fades.
